Living a balanced life
often means learning to make shifts and adapt as life throws new obstacles your way. I help my clients find that ever-changing,
sometimes precarious balance that enables them to experience more peace, calm, meaning, and joy.
What I value:
I am passionate about life. Relationships are super important to me and I choose to nourish
them. I have also learned that loving myself and taking care of my health is not 'optional' or something I can
'get around to' if there's time. It's hard to truly enjoy life when one is exhausted and unrested.

A Little History: I
was married young and became co-owner of my first business at the age of 23. It was a service business; open 24/7. I ran the office and became a surgical nurse (not quite what I thought I'd
do with my BS in Social Work).
Over the next 13 years I learned a lot about love and business. During that time I also started two businesses
that I operated from home. My marriage had a lot of problems and I found out that relationships don't work well unless
both individuals are willing to live healthy, whole lives. After 13 years, I decided it would be better to be on my own.
I went to work in the corporate world - which ended up not being a great fit for me. During that time I
learned something valuable: when work feels like you’re wearing shoes that are several sizes too small, you’re
not being true to who you are. I moved on to work for a non-profit in a position that I found challenging and fulfilling.
I've always loved learning, so I was talking classes and beginning to teach small groups during these years.
In 2002 the
field of coaching began to get some media attention. After hearing Debbie Ford (well-know coach/author)speak, I knew that
life coaching was the avenue to serve that I had been looking for. It let me work with people in a way that fully utilized
my natural skills/talents as well as my life experiences. It couldn't be a better fit -this is the work I was meant
to do!
I now live
in the Denver area and am a solopreneur again. I enjoy life coaching and speaking, especially in the areas of relationships,
transitions, and finding a fluid balance.
