Moving Beyond What Holds You Back

What is the Coach's Role?

My role is to help you discover and live the life you’ve always wanted.

I do that first by listening to you. I really listen. Then, I ask you thought-provoking questions, questions that get you talking even more. Why? Because so many of us can figure out what we want and even how to get it if we just were asked the ‘right’ questions.

I coach based on the belief that you have wisdom and guidance within. You know when you are on the right path and when you need to adjust your course.

As your coach I will encourage and challenge you. I encourage by reminding you of your progress, insights, and victories. I also see the best in you help you connect with your truly remarkable, beautiful self. I challenge you to let go of self-defeating behaviors, take risks, and to be accountable to yourself. I offer you new perspectives and remind you of your power to choose.

Two questions:

  1. Are you living the life you want?
  2. If not, why not? What’s holding you back?

Why coaching now?

Dear Friend,

Many of us start a new year with all sorts of great intentions and resolutions, only to get frustrated and mad at ourselves when we fail to live up to our aspirations. We want to make changes, but doing it alone is very difficult. Having a personal coach can be the difference between success and staying stuck on a self-defeating track. Give yourself the opportunity to fulfill your dreams and live the life you’ve been longing for. I think you’re worth it!

I will help you learn to access and use your inner guidance (compass) to direct and guide to your chosen destination. Our coaching sessions are a safe place in which you can be fully who you are. You can even experiment with that, if you don’t quite know who the ‘real’ you is. You will also find our sessions to be a place of acceptance, not judgment, and a place of growth and opportunity, not limitations.

You will develop more trust in yourself, see more of your own goodness, and re-energize your own resourcefulness. You will be guided through processes to find the answers, experiences, and questions that will lead and direct you to a richer and deeper life.

Trying new things, taking risks, and maneuvering life’s transitions can be scary stuff. We wouldn’t set sail on the ocean with a little boat by ourselves – our chances of reaching far off shores would be slim. Yet, many of us try to make huge changes or take on difficult challenges in our personal/ professional lives all by ourselves.

Perhaps you’re newly married or newly single, moving, experiencing an empty nest, changes jobs, changing careers, starting a new business, taking care of an elderly parent, just experienced the death your last remaining parent, - each of these is a huge transition! Why not make use of someone who has sailed these waters before? Having a trained professional joining you on your journey can help you get where you want to much quicker and with less angst than you might on your own.
This is a great time to try something new, why not see how coaching can help you!

Honoring and respecting your unique journey,

Levya
